Kids are great to take pictures of because they are so playful and full of emotion. I was at Boston Common this summer and this little girl came over and tried to act cute in front of me so that I could get her picture. This picture was taken while she was on the swing. I like it because I was able to capture her at the right time, the right moment.

With Artists for Humanity, we always go out to take pictures. It was a hot summer day and we had just been walking around the North End for three hours. While we were waiting for the train the ladies collapsed on a bench in a row, all with the same posture. Then I saw the shot.

During the summer I was doing a project on texture, patterns, and reflections. While I was working on my assignment, I saw a patterned reflection on myself in these glass doors. When I took it I wasnt sure if it would come out, but it did! This is just one of the many photos I have taken over the years.

This summer I worked as a photography student at a small organization called Artists for Humanity. Every Friday we go on field trips around Boston. That Friday, we went to the beach near UMASS Boston. The assignment was to look for patterns, textures, and reflections. I noticed the pattern that the trees made, and when the people came into the shot, I just had to get it.
