“Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire.” — William Butler Yeats

Senior Interviews
"Iım the first person in my family to go to college. I have two older brothers and a younger sister. For me, college was always there, in the back of my mind. I always had a lot of people in my life who would tell me that I had a potential for it, who really encouraged me." — Elizabeth Enelcuz, Class of '05
This June, What Kids Can Do had the chance to interview 12 of Central's graduating seniors about their passions, futures, and their time at Central. From stories of growing up in a Thai refugee camp to dreams of wrestling in the 2012 Olympics, these graduates shared with us a variety of histories and aspirations. And though their experiences are diverse, all twelve students plan to attend college next fall. Whether they hope to one day star in a Broadway play, fly a commercial airplane, or run for political office, these graduates have set their sights on the future.
