Lee, '06 Hook What we need is passion If you're a leader, or something like a teacher What we need is passion Whether you're a parent, or you're the president What we need is passion Coming from the young ones, of course from the students What we need is passion To be mutual, for a better future too Verse 1 Now, I know it's true That there is no passion, in some of you But I must ask, for decency For you to grasp passion, it's not jus for me So all it takes, is for you to believe Believe in us, and that we can achieve So don't be in a rush, just take your time It's true, believing in us makes us improve so keep that in your mind

Forget about the prejudice or racism, it's time for a change

You wanted to be a teacher; of course it's hard but why quite now

Parents are not involved enough, and then want to wonder

Now peers, here's the other side
Not everyone has passion, makes me want to cry
So it calls, for you to truly be self-driven
Cause if we held everyone else accountable, we wouldn't even be living
Stop trying to be a gangster; don't be proud of a lesser ghetto
Why they drowned in everything they need, were tucked behind the shadows
Put on your head, and get your education
Fight for your rights, and make a big change in this nation

Why is there still racism in this world?
And why are things for us getting worst off
And why is there passivism and people that don't even care
I look in you hearts and see that's something not there
